Nifty Option Strategy Today — How To Frame The Session Properly
Most NIFTY option strategy content jumps straight into calls, puts, iron condors, or a one-line trick. SniperIQ takes a different view: the first job is to understand what kind of session it is. A range day, trend day, expiry pin day, and macro-news day should not be traded through the same options lens.
Start With Regime, Not With A Trade
- Is NIFTY opening inside or outside the prior value area?
- Is the session near a major macro event or overnight global shock?
- Are call and put walls nearby, or does price have room to trend?
- Is India VIX supportive of premium buying, or is premium decay likely to dominate?
The Core Inputs For A NIFTY Options Framework
PCR works best as a context measure. Extreme readings matter more when they align with price structure and strike-level OI positioning.
Max pain is useful when the market is balancing into expiry and volatility is compressing. It is weaker when macro news or aggressive flow is forcing a trend.
Open Interest Walls
Large call and put OI concentrations show where the market may stall, pin, or break hard if absorption fails.
Option-chain signals improve when combined with prior day high/low, VWAP, opening balance, and obvious structural liquidity zones.
What SniperIQ Would Prioritize
- Trend continuation only when price accepts beyond a major OI wall and the structure confirms.
- Fade setups only when price is stretched into resistance/support and options positioning suggests mean reversion.
- Expiry-day caution when the market is trapped near max pain and false breaks are likely.
- Session-specific framing rather than one fixed “best strategy” for every day.
